Literature Text

Through weeks of restless nights
with bags beneath my eyes.
I feel so removed from life.
Like my brain has been set to autopilot..
I do things I'm told
I interact
I react
But it feels more that I'm a puppet
Held up on my feet by a million strings controlling my every action.
It feels as if I'm in the theater watching life unfold in front of me on the stage,
and i watch as the millions of people hiding behind paper masks go about their daily tasks.
When will it be the day that the strings will fade,
When the puppeteer will leave,
and autopilot will be turned off.
Poem Inspired by, Songs: "Masquerade" from "The Phantom of The Opera" Mainly the line "Paper faces on parade.
Masquerade!
Hide your face, so the world will never find you!"

and the Song "The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Real Puppet" by Sonata Arctica

(both are great songs)

also inspired by the feeling that i have been set on auto pilot so yeah

oh and DO NOT! steal this or any other of my work
